Distalmotion’s response to COVID-19


Dear Community,

As the world doubles down on the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we have taken important steps at Distalmotion to address this global challenge, and safeguard the health of our employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and any other of our stakeholders alike.


In this context:

  • We have put in place a strict home office policy for Distalmotion employees.
  • Distalmotion employees are advised to follow health authorities guidance and stay home, limit movement to the strict necessary and avoid public transport.
  • We have put all business trips, incl. domestic on hold until further notice.
  • In case of COVID symptoms or in case of having been in close contact with someone with COVID symptoms, employees have been asked to stay at home in self-quarantine
  • We are conscious of the consequences of working from home for a sustained period of time and we are making sure that we are keeping regular video contact as a team.
  • We are keeping communication channels with our customers open thanks to online solutions


Even if we won’t be able to meet face to face before some time, we are still busy developing the surgical robot people have been waiting for and we remain available through calls and video conferencing to provide the necessary operational support, serve our customers and support our suppliers.
