Spearheading a paradigm shift in robotic surgery: Michael Friedrich discusses Dexter at Viszeralchirurgische Tage 2019 in Bonn, Germany

On May 9-10 our CEO, Michael Friedrich, is attending the Viszeralchirurgische Tage 2019 event at the Center of Advanced European Studies and Research (caesar) in Bonn, Germany to outline the paradigm shift in robotic surgery that Dexter spearheads and stands for.

Dexter is designed to maintain laparoscopic workflows; bringing surgeons back to the patient, while ensuring open communications channels between surgeons and their operating room teams, and allowing them to switch between robotic and laparoscopic processes within 20 seconds.

Dexter removes the complexity out of robotic surgery – for surgeons, nurses, hospital heads and biomedical engineers alike – and is thus a robotic aid that empowers healthcare institutions to provide the right procedure, at the right time, to produce optimal outcomes for patients.
