DEXTER® Robotic Surgery System

The console is sterile to enable quick bedside access and connection with the surgical team. Clutching on both hand and wrist movements allows smooth, continuous control—even at extreme angles.

Small, mobile carts integrate easily into any operating room—no structural modifications needed.
DEXTER is easily maneuvered to maximize throughput.
At the touch of a button, DEXTER allows surgeons to operate using their preferred approach - either fully or partially robotic.

The DEXTER endoscope arm is compatible with all 5-10 mm endoscopes, including the latest 4K fluorescence imaging systems, so surgical teams can use existing operating room technology.
Mounted on a cart or directly to the operating table, it can easily be positioned anywhere around the patient.
“DEXTER doesn’t require buying an entire robotic ecosystem. You can use the visualization you have and other technology you feel is best for your procedures.”
Dr. Ryan Broderick, General Surgeon, Koman Outpatient Pavilion, UC San Diego Health

DEXTER has an instinctive design that supports a smooth learning curve for new, occasional, and frequent robotic surgeons.
Clutching on both hand and wrist movements allows smooth, continuous control—even at extreme angles.
DEXTER demonstrates efficient setup and workflow. Docking can be performed in less than 4 minutes.

DEXTER single-use, fully wristed instruments give surgeons ultimate dexterity, precision, and control. At the console, surgeons can clutch on both hand and wrist movements to allow smooth, continuous control—even at extreme angles.

In the US, the DEXTER® Robotic Surgery System is authorized for use in inguinal and ventral hernia repair, cholecystectomy, total benign hysterectomy, and other procedures including femoral hernia in general surgery as well as endometriosis resection, oophorectomy, salpingectomy, and sacrocolpopexy in gynecology. The system is indicated for adult use, defined as 22 years old and older. Rx only: Federal Law (US) restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician (or properly licensed practitioner).
